“OUR PHILOSOPHY AS A FARM FAMILY IS TO EAT THE FRESHEST FOOD POSSIBLE WHILE SUPPORT LOCAL FARMS AND TO RECONNECT TO A SIMPLER WAY OF LIFE. FUTURE PLANS FOR THE FARM INCLUDE MORE GARDEN AREAS AND A LINE OF FRESH GOAT’S MILK PRODUCTS.”
Wooded Acres Farm is a small start – up farm in Brookfield, Ohio that was established in the spring of 2016 by Marion Short-Steele. The farm started out with 6 chickens and 2 Nigerian Dwarf Goats. They have grown significantly in size, now with 35 free range hens with a coop to call home. There has also been another goat added to the head count at the farm.
This farm offers free range chicken as well as all natural farm fresh eggs. This spring, ducks and organic vegetable and herb gardens will be added to the farm. There is also a small hatchery in which they will hatch chicks and ducklings.
Wooded Acres Farm is has 6 beautiful acres. On this land chickens are free to roam the property to produce the most delicious, natural farm fresh eggs. They thrive on fresh air, green grass, and sunshine (and often snow!) Wooded Acres takes pride in the quality of their eggs.
Wooded Acres Farm provides all natural eggs from happy, cage free and free range chickens. Their chickens have six acres of land that they roam throughout the day and feed on insects and seed that are naturally occurring in the environment. These eggs also go into their baked goods, such as banana bread, cookies and brownies. Wooded Acres prides itself on using the finest ingredients in their homemade baked goods, using local, organic all natural products when available.
